The NFL Chicago Bears are doing a bit more than social distancing themselves from recent (and 100% truthful) social media comments made by their Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher regarding the Kenosha (Wis.) police shooting of a 29-year-old Jacob Blake.
Urlacher posted the following to his Instagram story Thursday:
“Brett Favre played the MNF game the day his dad died, threw 4 TDs in the first half, and was a legend for playing in the face of adversity.
“NBA players boycott the playoffs because a dude reaching for a knife, wanted on a felony sexual assault warrant, was shot by police.”
Court records show that the NOW saintly Jacob Blake had an active arrest warrant for three domestic abuse-related charges – criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and third-degree sexual assault, a felony, per The New York Times.
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul stated:
- During the incident Jacob Blake resisted arrest.
- The Police used a Taser stun gun on Blake in a failed attempt to subdue him.
- When Jacob Blake was shot in the back, he was attempting to retrieve a knife he had hidden on the driver-side front floorboard. The Police recovered a knife but did not divulge what kind it was.
Urlacher also allegedly liked a social media post calling for the release of Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old white teenager who has been egregiously charged with first-degree homicide after killing of two protesters in self-defense.
The Chicago Bears responded To Brian Urlacher with a cowardly statement:
“The social media posts in no way reflect the values or opinions of the Chicago Bears organization,”
Former Bears running back Matt Forte, who played with Urlacher in Chicago for five seasons, wrote on Twitter that Urlacher’s comments were “void of empathy, compassion, wisdom, and coherence” and reflected his ignorance and privilege.
“And those who refuse to acknowledge racism and injustice but instead choose to place their energy into justifying it by quickly judging the victims life as if they themselves are more valuable because their sins are different or weren’t caught by man… but God sees all.
“End Racism and injustice #byanymeansnecessary.”
I agree with one thing Forte said: “God does indeed see all” including liars who demand social justice without acknowledging that change must start with Black men obeying Police commands instead of letting their manhood’s take control and getting shot.
The Chicago Bears statement, and also shows how blind they are to the thousands of Blacks getting shot by other Black in the Windy city EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
And not a peep about those senseless killing from a media that has become triggered by the Police shooting of a convicted felon reaching for a weapon.
To date, according to HeyJackass.com, In Chicago, 2738 people have been shot, with 502 of those being homicides.
This is happening every year in Chicago and, of course, Democrats who have controlled the city for generations have done nothing to end the violence except screech about how racist America is:
