Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden has launched a podcast, attempting to reassure voters by channeling FDR’s WW2-era Fireside Chats but failing to distract from sexual assault allegations and concerns about his mental state.
The show, called “Here’s the Deal,” debuted on Monday with a sit-down with the Obama administration “Ebola czar” and venture capitalist Ron Klain, whom Joe Biden, in the podcast’s inaugural episode, hysterically called an “old friend of the show.”
Even more hysterical was the fact that the Biden campaign made the right decision in pre-recording Clueless Joe’s podcast as evidenced by how heavily-edited Clueless Joe’s 22 minutes of idiocy was.
Not a joke, folks, we just launched our new podcast. It’s called “Here’s the Deal.” For our first episode, I sat down with Ron Klain, former White House Ebola Response Coordinator, for a discussion on COVID-19.

While Joe Biden’s PR department laid it on thick, promising that the show “provides a voice of clarity during uncertain times.”
The podcast itself was unremarkable – reassuring platitudes (“I have overwhelming faith in the American people”) bookended promises of competent crisis management.
There were gentle criticisms of the Trump administration’s response to the epidemic, but due to it being heavily edited there were barely any moments of the stumbling and bumbling that have come to characterize a Joe Biden appearance.
Joe Biden Podcast Fails To Distract From Tara Reade
But the reaction to Joe Biden’s first-ever podcast revolved around the disturbing allegations from former Senate staffer Tara Reade, who accused Biden of sexually assaulting her back when he was a senator and recently took her story public.
Joe Biden’s campaign has dismissed Tara Reade’s allegations, and thanks in large part to CNN, and MSNBC not writing a single word about Creepy Joe’s MeToo transgression, his campaign hasn’t had to do a lot of denying.

Others just focused on Joe Biden being on the verge of dementia, or his anger management issues.

Here’s the deal: If I were a highly paid political op trying to boost my candidate, and I wanted to start a podcast, I sure as hell wouldn’t name it something that has (at least!) 14 other podcasts by the exact same name.
How is Biden’s team so bad at this?! pic.twitter.com/SnOUtobIrj
