Podcaster Joe Rogan is so fed up with California’s delusional Democrats he’s considering moving to Texas because he’s disgusted with the nanny-states restrictive, indefinite coronavirus lockdowns.
Rogan also complained about the La La Land’s sky-high taxes and said he might leave for the greener, no-income-tax pastures of Texas.
“I don’t know if [California] is a good place to live,” Rogan said on his podcast. “First of all, it’s extremely expensive. The taxes are ridiculous…I might jet. I’m not kidding. I don’t need to be here.”
Rogan underscored that he really likes many cities in Texas, but balked at living in Houston because of its boiling summer weather.
“I like Austin a lot,” Rogan said. “I like Dallas a lot. I like Houston. I don’t know if I would live in Houston. The summer is a motherf**ker.”
While some dismiss Rogan as a comedian and podcaster, he has a massive audience and wields a lot of influence among his listeners. According to Apple, Joe has the No. 1 podcast in the world, with 190 million downloads a month.
Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) was thrilled by the news, and urged Rogan to move.
“Texas is gonna be even more awesome, if that was even possible,” Crenshaw tweeted. “Joe Rogan, Elon Musk…anyone else? Texas is open for business for freedom-loving Americans.”
