Sen. Kamala Harris egregiously used her occasion to ask a written question during the Senate impeachment trial on Wednesday to sneak in the old Access Hollywood video of President Donald Trump.
Kamala Harris egregious question to the Senate Impeachment Trial read:
“President Nixon said, quote, ‘When the president does it that means that it is not illegal.’ End quote. Before he was elected, President Trump said, quote, ‘When you’re a star they let you do it, you can do anything,’ end quote,”
Of course, that specific Trump quote was from the infamous ‘Grab em by the P***y’ Access Hollywood tape that was used by the Hillary Clinton campaign to embarrass then-candidate Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election.
Kamala Harris reprehensibly tried to equate Nixon and Trump talking about a President being immune from prosecution until he’s no longer POTUS, and Donald Trump talking with television host Billy Bush having “a lewd conversation about women”.
During the campaign, Donald Trump apologized for his remarks in the video recorded in 2005, saying it was nothing but locker room talk.
Of course, as usual when a Republican apologizes, unlike when Democrats apologize, nothing a Republican said in the past is ever forgiven, or forgotten.
Thankfully, the access Hollywood tape did little damage and Donald Trump went ion to pull off the greatest political upset in American history by winning the 2016 presidential election against Hillary ‘bring them to heel’ Clinton.
See Democrats we can play that game as well.
