Portland Police are investigating Michael Forest Reinoehl an ex-military man who calls himself “100% ANTIFA” and who also screeched he’s ready for “war” after a shocking video captured the moment Reinoehl allegedly gunned down Trump-supporter Aaron Danielson in Portland, Oregon.
Police sources told The Oregonian, that Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, is suspected of being the man who pulled the trigger in the fatal shooting of Aaron Danielson.
Danielson a “supporter” of the right-wing Patriot Prayer group was gunned down after participating in a 600-strong Pro-Trump car caravan which drove through Portland Saturday night.
Reinoehl was identified in part by a distinctive tattoo on his neck of a “black power” fist — as well as a call from his estranged sister who recognized him in video and photos of the deadly attack, the paper said.
The 36-year-old sister — whom The Oregonian agreed not to name — was first alerted after a threatening call that woke her at 8 a.m. Sunday warning that “our whole family was in danger unless we turned him over.”
“We reached out to police and confirmed that we recognized Michael in the screenshots” from the shooting, she told the paper.
Videographer Justin Dunlap was filming live late Saturday, casually noting new artwork on buildings as most of the day’s violence appeared to have ended when he suddenly turned toward shouting.
Two gunshots then rang out, a cloud of smoke appearing to show the gunman standing just a few feet in front of his target.
As a group of about a half-dozen shouted and fled, one of the other men started walking away — collapsing on the ground after a few steps, a panicked driver skidding to a halt just feet in front of him.
Several people rushed to help, and officers in riot gear — who say they heard the shots while policing the demonstrations.
But despite arriving within three minutes after hearing the gunfire, they were unable to save Aaron Danielson’s life.
